ResearchThrough completing this research project, I found that counselors with caseloads between 150 and 250 report spending more time on career development with students. As expected, high school counselors reported spending more time on career development than any other level. Bereavement GroupThis was an 8 week grief group dedicated to helping students talk about their loved one and learn coping mechanisms. Throughout this group, students who participated showed an increase in academic achievement as well as a significant decrease in peer conflicts.
